well I bought a 99' Dodge Ram quad Cab alil over a Month ago and am now looking for speaker Ideas...
The front doors have 6x9s and the rear quad cab doors have 5.25" speakers
What should I do here..... Keep the same size speakers and just replace what I have or?
looking for Ideas here....
There are going to be 2-10" subs under the rear seat....

Will you be adding a amplifier to the new speakers? 50w rms x 4 is more than enough for most systems to balance with 2 10's under the rear seat. If so, a oversize 6.5" component set up front and a good matching coax for the rear is all that is necessary. A mounting template can be made out of abs (advisable due to moisture) to fit the components into the 6x9" speaker hole. A second option of you don't want to stretch quite that high is a pointsource type 6x9" that for most people is more than adequate.

for the front make plates for the 6x9 holes and mount a set of 6.5" components in there, 6.5's bolt right into the back holes too ......the factory's are 5.25 but they have a weird mounting frame and actually the hole fits 6.5" just perfect
