Subs Aren't Working...

With your battery going dead all the time, did you have the doors open or a long period of time?? cause it sounds to me like you havea continous draw somewhere(meaning something is on that shouldn't be all the time) causing the battery to die so easily...

dood. come on - you're over thinking this.
Go to your amp or your subwoofer or wherever it is easy to disconnect the speaker wire. Note which wire is on the positive terminal and move it to the negative terminal. Then connect the wire that was on the negative terminal to the positive one.
This is called "changing the polarity of a speaker"

actually your all going about this the wrong way. if the subs are both svc then if one s reverssed there is no problem. the signal is still getting used the sub is just pounding in reverse and lovering sq. if the subs are dvc then if one is wired backward it will just put out minimal sound and not pound hard at all, if any. so the question regal is are your subs svc meaning 1 voice coil or are the dvc meaning 2 voice coils?

I think your amp but i couldnt be wrong what do you have for an amp or sub?
I kinda ran into the same problem myself. which configuration are you setting your amp?? So the best idea before you blow something doubt is to look at your manuals to both pieces and find out what there stable at. even check your fuse see if you blew them who knows anyways
read the manual!

im just gonna try swapping the wires like someone suggested above. if that doesnt work, then i'll have to find the configurations or w/e.
im still trying to get my power wire through the firewall..i cant do it. theres a grommet where the hood release cable goes through, and im thinking about drilling a hole just below it, then i'll know where to look.

dude... no matter which way you hook up one sub... if it just single voice coil... the other is independent.... no amp i have ever used or ever seen has had a problem with one sub being wired backwards. it just pounds differently. with a dvc sub if one vc is reversed it will cancel the other out depending again on how it is wired
