The system I'm building on $150

Hehe . . . I picked up a Kenwood 4 channel amp from the installer Larry at Base in town. I gave him 2 RF P2D410's that needed the tinsel leads re-soldered inside the cone (that was a bit to tricky for me). He did the work, took the subs for a friend and gave me the old Kenwood 4 channel. He might have gotten the better deal there, but I didn't need the subs, nor could I fix them . . . I'll use that amp to bi-amp my comps until I can find a processor for dirt cheap.
'Bout time you got back to this project.....seems to me it's been quite a while since you posted your last devious deal for more equipment for the build.....
Any more pics?

Keith - thanks, but I don't think that's necessary. The X-overs that came with the Cliff-Designs are Bi-ampable as well. For the most part, I like the X-overs. The only draw back with them is (as you heard a year ago when you were down) is the gap between mid and tweeter . . . I think I might be able to lose that gap by changing the attenuation of the tweeter (I think the tweeter was set at -6 . . . I'm thinking if I swap it to + 3 through the passives, the passives might give the tweeter a little bit lower extension).
If that doesn't work too well, I can always by-pass the X-over for the mid so it can play a little bit higher.
I don't have any more pics . . . I've been pretty busy with . . . life, so I haven't done much to anything.
As for great deals, my favourite e-bayer has not posted car electronics for nearly half a year. So I'm thinking the crappy economy has altered best-buy and future shops discard policy, so he hasn't been able to pick up car audio returns.

What am I looking for?
I remember back in the day (about 15 years ago) a buddy lent me a three way active X-over I think it was Phoenix Gold. It had:
3 options for tweeter high-pass (I think 2.5, 3.5 and 5 kHz)
3 options for mid low-pass (same as above)
3 options for mid high-pass (I think 80, 100, 150 Hz
3 options for sub low-pass (same as above)
It was real basic, 4 switches with 3 settings each. 1 RCA pair input, 3 RCA pair out. I had fun with it until he said "Gimme my X-over back, I've got an install I want it for in my F-150!"
So I'm looking for something like that: an old school, analog processor.

He did some interesting things along the way to his new system....way beyond what most people do and he hasn't been here since last June.....
I was hoping if I dragged the thread back up he might stop in for an update....
Time to play wait and see I guess.....
