ok i have 2 15 type rs and im deciding to go ported or sealed box i also want more spl than sq out of my system and how do i get 16volts or 14.4 just higher than 12 volts will work i want to be able to go to db derbies without getting laughed at not neccesarily to win i want like 130 or 140 dbs but im a serious newbie to this so i need help thanks

 

Ok first if you want to compete in I would guess Street C (judging by 2-15s) you can't run a 16 volt setup. The best you can do is add another batt. Also if you don't want to get laughed at, I would port your box.

Tell us what kind of car you have and we might be able to help you more. Also what amps you have, the impedence of your subs, etc, etc.
