Hey all,

Ok, i got this weird problem with my adaptor.

I have a Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD Indash DVD deck in my eclipse, which works WONDERFULLY and I bought a Pioneer CD-BTB100 bluetooth adaptor to go with it, but here is the situation. First: It only seems to work with my Rogers Blackberry 8800 phone, and not with my Telus UTStarcom 6700 phone and that bluetooth works fine (i've transfered stuff back and forth other phones so i know it works) nor my Telus Motorola KRZR.

In any case, the problem i have is this, I have no "Function" menu on my deck thru the bluetooth adaptor which i SHOULD have. That being said, I can't search for bluetooth devices, or anyhting like that. However with my blackberry or ANY OTHER bluetooth device, i can find the bluetooth adaptor no problem.

Having the "Function" menu is slightly critical as i need it to search for phones, dump my phone book, and change settings, etc etc.

Now here is where it gets weirder: Along with having telephone feature with that bluetooth adaptor, i have the ability to have a bluetooth audio player, and in THAT section of the deck, i DO have a "Function" menu.

You see my confusion? If anyone can solve this delima that would be fantastic or give my ideas.

Here's what i've tried: I've reset the bluetooth adaptor, while the car is in ACC mode, AND while its off. I've reset my deck following the manual. Checked the grounds (which is HIGHLY unlikely THAT would be the problem).

I'm left with 2 answeres: 1: The bluetooth unit is defective (and not the deck as if it was the deck, I wouldn't be able to use the bluetooth AT ALL, but I can, its just i can't see the "Function" menu. or 2: theres a setting i've SOMEHOW missed.

I'm no novice when it comes to car audio, however i'm no expert either, so any suggestions will be HIGHLY greatful!
