Hello, have a 2000 chevrolet Cavalier 2.4L engine. i am looking into a new battery and not sure what to get. i have a 1000w (max) amp thats running 2 12inch subs. looking at optima but not sure what to get. As you all know it gets cold in cananda like -40 so i am looking for a good cca battery as well. so what is the best battery to get for my car and where would i get it/? thanks again

 

its not the only choice out there, but you can't go wrong with the yellow top optimas (red tops are primarily for starting, yellow tops are deep cycle, and blue tops are marine). i've been running mine for about 4 years now and have never had one issue.
if you are getting a new battery anyways, look into keeping hte one you have and just adding a second battery instead of a replacement.
