What do I need

I have installed a Freeway In-Dash DVD Player-3563, two alpines front running 30 RMS, Two Rear running 40 RMS and a 12" R running 500RMS on a Alpine 2ohm 500RMS amp. Problem is this, when the woofer kicks around 75% power it nearly stalls my 2000 Grand AM GT 3.4L. Can someone tell me where I need to upgrade to get the right amount of power flowing?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Please forgive me for my lack of knowledge, I just started on car audio two months ago.

first thing i think of when i hear this is lack of power flow.. have you peformed the Big 3 upgrade?? if you search it on here or on youtube it'll teach you the exact thing you need to do to complete this.. i suggest youtube bcause it gives a step by step tutorial with constant video rather then just still images of the connection points where you have to connect cables.. and like how to run the cables through your engine bay and .. lol

I think you have a weak alt, batt, or both. That much power stalling that car even with stock wiring is crazy.

Yeah, what he said ^^^ LOL I have 2.5k+ running in a 97 Cavalier with old factory alt and a year old Walmart factory sized battery and I really have to push it (over 30 out of 35 max) to even get my headlights to dim.

Yeah the alt is 105 amp, I looked it up yesterday. Thing is I can run everything fine off the factory equip, but when I turn on my loud function then the bass really hitts and thats what my car did not like.
