I plan on skipping the battery idea and upgrading the Big 3 first to see how that goes. I may have to upgrade the alternator eventually so what size wire would you recommend for my Big 3 upgrade? I am thinking 1/0awg, am I close?

 

Use 1/0 gauge. Try knukonceptz.com. They make pretty good shiz. I have knuconceptz in my car for the "big 3". Only problem is the normal battery terminals they give you struggle to fit the 1/0 gauge in it. Just make sure you know you need to ground engine block to chassis, negative on battery to chassis and alternator positive to battery positive.
