Where should I install my LOC?
I just picked up a David Navone four channel line out converter. I will be installing it in my Mazda 6 with Bose stereo. I need to know where I should wire this sucker in. Here are the details:
Using the stock Bose 6 disc in-dash deck, speaker wires run from there to under passenger seat where the Bose amp resides. I have an aftermarket amp already mounted in the trunk.
Should I:
1) connect it as close to the deck as possible
2) connect it as close to the aftermarket amp as possible
3) other?
Any help would be appreciated guys

Connect it at the amplifier. What looks like speaker wires coming from the stock head are probably preamp lines. Are the wires from the factory cd 4 sets of wires in grey sheaths by chance? If so then they are almost 99% going to be pre-amp lines.
Thanks for responding.....I don't know what colour the wires are yet as I am going to do the install tonight after work. I spoke with David and he said to install at the amp bypassing the Bose amp altogether.
Thanks.
Thanks.
