does no one see the positive in that install!!
that is a seriously wicked IDEA for a sub enclosure!
imagine a solid piece of baltic birch, perfectly carved intrnals.....no screws (except for mounting the sub) no glue, no silicone, no standing waves etc...could even make it as thick as you want!

SEE IT?!?!

I totally agree. After the initial laughs, I realized that it's exactly what mr marco said.

I'm going to try it!!!

The question is, what should I use to stain it? My car doesn't have any wood accent pieces, so I'll have to get a kit.....oh man this is going to be though.....

totally serious!
some people build circular enclosures from fiberglass by glassing balloons.. this seems alot cooler! that is if oyu can get it done...
