Wiring Required for Mono amp install?
Wiring Required for Mono amp install?
Hey guys,
I'm about to order my amp installation paraphernalia from KnuKonceptz, I just want to share what I have in my "cart" and make sure I'm not missing anything.
I'm going to be powering a Kenwood mono amp at 4 ohms, for a 300W output. While leaving myself the ability to add a small 2 channel amp later on.
Kolossus Fleks Kable 4 Gauge Red Power/Ground Wire (18 feet)
Gold Plated 4 Gauge Ring Terminal -Red (1 @ battery connection)
Kolossus Fleks Kable 4 Gauge Black Power/Ground Wire (4 feet)
Gold Plated 4 Gauge Ring Terminal -Black (1 @ chassis ground connection)
In-Line Waterproof Mini-ANL Fuse Holder (60A)
Karma SS 4 Channel 6 Meter RCA Cable (4 channel for when I upgrade my front speakers)
Karma SS 10 Gauge Speaker Wire
Snap Bushing / Grommet 4AWG (not sure I'll need this, but it's only 25 cents)
I believe all that I am missing in the remote turn on wire. Though, I'm unable to locate it on their site...
I don't think I need any more spade or ring terminal connections, as it'll be bare wire to amp connections.
Have I missed anything? Thanks for your help.
