Can it be done, yes it can. Will it create huge tonal problems, DEFINITELY. You have other options to consider, I recommend that you come up with a game plan of what you are expecting in the long run and then follow the play book to get there.

alright then, what will create these tonal problems? the fact that different speakers are being used or the fact that there are many of them?

This reminds me of when I was 17 and had an S-15 extended cab and built a box out of OSB and had a bunch of 6X9" and other speakers in it..... ... More is not better in this case. 2 sets of components is plenty.

yes im beginning to see it.. i may just take out the 5x7's as well.... and i believe ill just power the door speakers from the deck.. so far its two rockford T1 speakers in the doors, two rockford T1 components in the speaker rack, and two RE XXX components in the "a-pillars". For power however... is a kicker zx350.4 powerful enough would u say, to power the two component sets? the amp is rated at 90 watts rms @ 2 ohms per channel and 60 watts rms @ 4 ohms per channel. the rockford t1 components are rated at 100 watts rms at 4 ohms and the RE XXX components are rated at 150 watts rms at 2 ohms. so the RE's will be powered at what it says (90 watts rms). but im just wondering if this will all keep up with the bass im producing... or is it just worth it to go out and get a zx650.4 (120 watts rms per channel at 4 ohms and 170 watts rms at 2 ohms per channel) and be careful with my gains?
