ok so i have a mono amp that should be putting out around 600 rms and im buying a 4 channel amp that sould put out around 300 rms. sence i have 4ga. wire going to my mono amp i was thinking i would just take a piece of my old 8ga. wire and run it from positive on mono amp to the positive on 4 channel, same with ground. what i was concerned about is weather or not the mono amp will take up too much of the power from the battery leaving my midrange amp at a lack of power and have my speakers fade out a bit when the music is demanding a lot of bass. if this can be a problem do u think a cap would solve it or am i going to have to run all of my old 8ga. wire again for the 4 channel?
