woofer displacement?:S

Smile woofer displacement?:S

Hello all,
could some one give me a crash course on what all this information is on my subwoofers tech sheet, most importantly im looking to find out what the subwoofer's displacement is for a new box im building,

Fs: 47.00 Hz
Qms: 4.95
Cms: 0.072 mm/N
Mms: 159.31 g
Rms: 9.50 kg/s
Vas: 0.445 ft³ (12.59 liters)
Xmax: 0.650 in (16.51 mm)
D: 8.346 in (212.00 mm)
Sd: 54.71 in² (352.99 cm²)
Vd: 35.57 in³ (0.58 liters)

BTW the sub is a mtx 7500 ten inch SVC going into as big as possible sealed box

here...just a google away. Unfortunately, none of those specs give you the speaker displacement, that's usually in the manual though, and if not...use .05-.08 cubic feet for a typical 10". The Vd is for volume of air moved by the cone with one excursion (xmax) not the same as the volume the speaker takes up in the box.

wow that wiki page was actualy pretty usefull, and i will use 0.065 as my displacement, thanks veeman

no prob bro...you'll have no problem with the displacement, particularly in a sealed box.... .2-.3 cubes really has little effect in a larger sealed box much less .03 cubes.
