300C tops out at 171MPH (STOCK)hehe
300C Hemi tops out at 171 miles an hour bone stock.
had aftermarket coils, air intake, stock tires.
O and it also had the new 300C chip that just came out, smoother shifting on the tranny and raises the RPM a little more.
171 MPH not to bad for a get the groceries family car.
Testing was done at a disclosed location!!

JUST REMEMBER SAFTY FIRST!!
JUST REMEMBER SAFTY FIRST!!
At that speed most of the resistance is due to aero drag.
Aero drag is proportional to velocity squared, and directly proportional to Cd and frontal area.
So the comparison between a honda civic top speed and the 300 top speed is invalid by just comparing the mph difference.
Weight has nothing to do with top speed, it only affects the rate of acceleration (ie. how fast you can get to that top speed).
171 is freaking impressive. I have to do it myself to believe it though ....
