I wouldn't advise running those Krawlers on the road either....there a soft compound tire made for rock crawling, not to mention they'd be louder than all hell.

I went with 265/75/16 mud-terrain t/a's. I like um! $300 a tire is enuff for me, even though that's not what i paid. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow.

looks good man ........... I like the look of bfg's
as for the white letters .....when you run bfg's you gots to show em off, so white letters all the way
as for my comments on the all terrains, I'm used to running "mud" tires (open tread, fairly agresssive grip) all the time and I run a lot of gravel and muddy roads, so take this with a little grain of salt
the road into my parents place is 2 miles of clay and when it rains in the fall it gets pretty slimey .........this fall with my baja mt's I was running in and out through the slimey muck without barley a spinning tire
I swapped on my BFG AT's a bit early this fall, well as soon as I pulled off the highway onto my parents road they slicked up and I was sliding all over the place, I made it in but there was a lot of spinning, I ended up using 4wd to stop the spinning
I've also found that the AT's tend to get rocks stuck in em on the gravel and eventually the rocks work there way into the tire and cause a flat, again I run over a 300km road twice every month at least
as for winter performance.....the AT's rock ....... I think they're one of the better "all terrain" tires out there........I just don't like "all terrain" type tires that much
as for the bad mud experience, well I did have the at's on when I sunk her in the swamp this fall, but 44" swamper boggers wouldn't have helped in that bottemless pit
oh yeah gilligan .....some skyjacker d20's and 33's would look cool

pete , those rough riders will work fine, they're a little more agressive than the BFG AT's
I'd try em for what you want, lots of guys up here in gillam use em , they seem to like em
you could hit you're local kal tire/bridgestone dealer and get a set of these (baja widetrack m/t's) I've had good luck with em

what do you mean $$$$$$$ sell one of the 2 billion big dollar subs you got
d20's coils are like 200-250 bucks top and lift the front 2"
they'll stop the nasty bottoming out on rough backroads at speed even with the stock tires
the d201k kit gives you add-a-leafs for the rear, I think national4wd in calgary wanted 260 bucks for the kit
guy at work is running the d20's up front with 285 BFG's all round on his 99 1500 ........looks cool
oh yeah I forgot you live in alberta.........you probably don't have rough back roads
just buggin ya, looks good the way it is now too.......
