I closed all my accounts at TD also. I bank at Coast capital and van tel credit unions.

i get raped monthly by bmo. its a pretty rad bank i think the ceo lives on main in hastings in a box.

BMO sucks I am also switching I think I'm going with the PC banking..They give you money for food for the banking you do and they have intrest rates.

www.pcfinancial.ca (a CIBC bank) NO FEES!!! I dropped my TD account a year or so ago cause it cost way too much to use MY OWN MONEY!!! Good luck

Yup, just dropped my credit union account that cost me about $30/mnth to a free one from pc financial. They also gave me overdraft protection and a low interest line of credit. Both of which my old bank would not give me. They had no trouble giving me a 19.xx% interest rate credit card though.

Yeah CIBC accidentially (sp [img]graemlins/freak.gif[/img] ) gave me an overdraft of $500..... sweet [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] PC gave me $100 on my savings account.... [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

i`m with royal bank... i`m not a fan...if you have to go into the bank - your pretty much screwed as there only open for about 15 minutes every day monday to friday ...

I'm tempted to start stuffing my mattrass, or buy a personal safe.
ING Direct seems like a good way to go, but as Mullen mentioned, they don't have much if any access to Interac, which means more pre-planning when I cash my meager paycheck, that I call income.
