Best Way to Ship????
I always use xpresspost to send things to here or the states. I've usually had things arrive in a week or less, and have personally NEVER had one single problem.
Now ups, don't get me started on the problems I've had with them lately, or usps for that matter...ugh... American postal services make me cringe.

within canada i think UPS ground is the way to go, 3 day transit time from alberta to toronto, over night, or 2 day expedited if u need it NOW.
gettin stuff from the states, USPS/ canada post u pay a flat rate 5$ brokerage fee, but u have no tracking at all, so u take your chances like that with havin a shipper say "well i mailed it out.... posties must have lost it.... sorry no refunds" (which ive had happen)
best way to go when bringing stuff from the states with a company that says "we only use UPS" is to have em send it up express or expedited, u pay a bit more for the upgraded service level, but UPS will waive the brokerage fees and u only pay the tax

if it makes u feel any better tho, ive been nailed with brokerage fees and even called our head brokerage office from work to argue over the 30$ brokerage on a 40$ camera and as an employee i was basically told to stuff it, so no one is gettin any breaks
as far as things slowin down in canada, its not so much that the package isnt goin anywhere, its just being handled less then in the US like it will go from winnipeg, to calgary, then get processed by our hub sort and loaded into a 5 ton bound for red deer where it will be delivered to u, shouldnt take more then 2 days from the peg to your house,
if anyone has any concerns or questions about UPS procedure, or policy feel free to ask, ill try to answer as best i can, or get the answer from someone who would know better,
but i do feel that we provide a higher quality product (with the exception of our brokerage fees) then most other courier companies, with things like 3 delivery attempts (i believe canada post, fedex and purolator all do one attempt then u gotta pick it up, and i think canpar does 2) im not 100% but im fairly certain we are the only ones doing 3 attempts,
so like i said lemme know if u have any questions or concerns with UPS, theres ALOT that goes on behind the scenes that customers dont know or realize, that can cause things like late packages, split shipments etc etc... moreso now with the rail strike goin on...
i'm just about to order about $400us worth of PA parts from the states, and that'll save me a hell of a lot on brokerage! and i get it alot quicker
