bro i feel your pain, this happened to my dad's safari a while back and i had now installed a roof mount screen in it for him and 2 12" in a box with a 1000watt rockford amp and they took everything, except they actually broke the lock cylinder out of the door and then pryed it open. Buy suprisingly the alarm on the van stopped working the same week and then they broke into it. That y from now on i got my alarm installed in my car and dont put any stickers or flashy rims on the car cause it draws attention.

Thats a sad sight to see... As you mentioned, at least you're not overly hurt by this financial-wise.

Yeah, got the window fixed two days later and traded the Explorer in. I had been toying with trading it in recently and wish I had done it when I told myself I would. Then I never would have had to deal with this BS. lol!

I'm bumping this rather than starting a new thread because I'm sure a lot of you remember my post on this. And since I have a conclusion to add to it some might find it interesting and funny.

8 months later... and I get a call today from a detective in my area. They identified the person who stole my stuff. They matched his DNA from the blood he left when he cut himself on my broken window. (As shown in original pictures) Apparently he committed another crime in the area and they got his blood. So not only is he being charged with the crime they just nailed him for he will be charged with burglary for stealing my sub woofers. And he's either going to have to pay me the $230 bucks for what the stuff was worth or face jail time. Doesn't matter to me which he chooses cause it was so satisfying getting the call today.

I laugh last!! AH HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!
