For a final answer, made it into the bank today to make a payment to my visa and check things out.

Even the bank lady thought i could deposit money directly to my visa, until she came out and saw it for her own eyes. Then she went and asked another person to find out that thru the Royal Bank, you cannot deposit money onto/against your visa thru any bank machine.


On a plus note, i can set it up as a bill payment thru my cibc bank card, so i can still do everthing online (thank god)
