Car Audio speakers used for Home Audio?

Has anyone ever tried making an enclosure for Car Audio components and used it for a home Stereo?

I was searching up the brand Morel on youtube and I found this.

THIS.

This guy made a custom enclosure for his Morels, And it sounds stunning.

I'd like to try this someday...

Hey Darin,

I loved my Alpine F1 set up. To be honest. If a proper custom built cabinet and proper component application is done, your home system will rival the high $$$one's for sound a whole lot cheaper - and in some cases esthetically even.

Why not build them. It would be a good learning experience for you. It will help when you compare 'high end audio' products.

Hope this helps!

I've had my OS 15W3 in HT for about 5 years now. Best home audio sub I've ever owned.

I have little to no experience in Carpentry, But I would probably pay someone to build the cabs.

I think it would be cheaper and a cool project to take place.
