the car was in edmonton parked at the belvedere LRT station with the fake surveilance cameras
why would they even bother putting up cameras that are fake?

but thats just me.. north side and west end I think are the worst...
Sorry to hear man. If you ever get your hands on them
Always wondered why people with removable face decks don't take the face with them. Only takes 10 seconds to take off and put back on but only 1 second for someone to notice you didn't take it with you.
Guess i'm just paranoid that way.

SHY </font>
Well, a good alarm should be able to ward off an amatuer thief. If they came and just smashed his window obviously they weren't too concerened about an alarm. In which case if there was an alarm at least it would have gone off, possibly scaring them away.

SHY </font>
oh yeah? how is that...lets start a little discussion on alarm techniques.
it is for that exact reason that i install my own alarms/starters,etc.if you think of possible senarios,dead/disconnected battery, short circuit, valet switch.........you can't go wrong.i pity the lil'a$$hole that tries to "do" my car, because i'm always close to my car,and my stuff is installed as ignorant as possible.
3 lemmings tried my car a few years ago, kinda dumb, 3 in the morning warn away going off& they still tried to get into the car while i watched them.RETARDS .they jumped a neighbors fence& landed on a pile of steel. to hear thier shouts of pain was very entertaining. they never tried again. It's stupid, installers do most every car the same cause it's quick and easy and thieves know how to disable them in very short order!
When i installed my alarm i put everything in different spots than installers do and the siren it took me about an hour under the car to finally get it in just for how awkward of a place i put it.
