So I broke down and picked up a cell phone..one of those pay as you go deals...through Fido..

Anyway, when you flip the phone open theres this real nice display, but at the top of it is "FIDO"...How does one get rid of it?Or change it?

I've gone thru the owners manual, visited several websites and found nothing....

Anyone here know how to do it?

Here's the phone I got...

Feel free to PM me if you like, but if you post here, it may help someone else as well..

Thanks much for any help!

Is it in the display where you can write your name if you want?

If so it's usually under setup then goto display.

At least on my samsung that's what it is

Most cell phones will display what network you're on at the time.

If that's what your phone is displaying, I don't believe you can change it.

Ask this in the Fido section at www.howardforums.com and you will get an answer there for sure. (actually, maybe try a search on the site first)

It is a forum dedicated totally to everything cellular, with 75% of the members being Canadian.
