Well, just got back from Van and I do have to say I am a little disapointed. Well ok, a lot. 2 blown field goals and lack of a run offence (not that we didn't try) were the turning points. I was truley impressed on how many Sask fans there were at the game. I would estimate a good 15-20 thousand were Rider fans. Good job.
But I have to say this. I was truley disappointed on how ****y and arrogant the BC fans are. To the point of down right rude and abnoxious. I have been going to CFL games for the last 15 years and I have never run into a bigger group of ******** in my life. Here's just one example. I am standing in line at Taco Bell in Langley after he game. Some ***** walks up to me (I am in my Rider jersey still) and says "Riders ****in suck man". "We just got done kickin your ***". There is deffinatly a line between a little frienly banter back and forth, but when you go up to someone you don't know and start trash talkin like that, you will get your *** handed to you. I gave him a few kind words, and ordered my taco.
This is just one example of numerous things that took place after the game. I honestly lost alot of respect for the people of BC and their football club. For a team who has a hard time gathering 15-20 thousand fans per game in their stadium all year long and to have about 1/4 of your stadium filled today with people who paid to support your club, show some freakin respect.
End rant.

The way I look at it, I had nothing to lose. As a longtime flatlander I would have been cool with the Riders advancing but, hey, the local boys pulled it off so that's sweet too.
GO WHOEVER IS IN THE WEST!!
And Petey - your in town and you don't call the Dukk. I'm offended

The reason taylor field looks full is its a smaller stadium. I would bet that BC has on par attendace with other teams.
Riders fans have nothing to do other than watch football and make snowmen!

Perhaps the pumping Keith was just a distraction for the air attack. Burris picked them apart. If it wasn't for Keith's fumble and the two missed FGs the game would not have even been close. Factor in the refs making questionable calls (ie. holding on Childress to negate the Burris TD) .. GO RIDERS!
