At this tire shop I used work at,us tire busters would find all kind of things to stay occupied...

We had a beadseater(a large air tank with an open/close valve that typically has a wedge shape cone at the end to deliver a large,fast blast of air to seat the bead of larger truck tire)that was missing the wedge portion of it.We did all kind of things with the thing..

We once filled it with about 110 psi of air,shoved the nozzle end in the dunk tank(about as big as 4 person hot tub)and let er rip!!HOLY CRAP!!Freakin Water everywhere...the 3 of us got drenched from head to toe.Boss asked what happened and we gave some BS story.....

We to the blaster down to the basement where we stored the tires.We has a small 4 wheel cart we moved some tires around with..Travis and James would take turns in filling the tank to max capacity,and trying to make a rocket sled out of it...Made one hell of a noise, but never really went far.....

Then we decided to use it as a tennis ball launcher...That was freakin cool!!!We would take it out in the backlane behind the shop and see how much range we could get...I think the best we did was about 300ft and it probably did that in a couple seconds....

Oh to be young and irresponsible again!!

I work in a shop as a lead hand too. Did a bunch of donuts once. It was hilarious my foreman kept asking everyone who did all the donuts? Even asked some people 2X.

There was thing huge ring of tracks going around this empty pallet! LMAO

^^^^We use to do **** like go as fast as the fork lift can crank it around drop it in reverse and do a nice lil cat walk, or throw red/green pepers at the Trinidads that we worked with but then the one guy started throwing hammers and other metal objects so we stopped since they tend to hurt more. Almost blew the damn place up had the Hopper Wagons at the top of the hill and they decided to role backwards down the hill and just about parked themselves in the Gas/Deisel tanks we had there but luckly it hit the barn first.

 

My most favorite thing to do is to mess with other employee's computers when they leave it and accidently don't lock it..

Trust me what goes around comes around and windows 2000 can be a bitch getting your desktop back when the icons are hidden, and the right mouse button has been disabled, its happened to me once...

The very best was the day we ran Bad-Day.exe on a girls machine we work with.. we convinced her that her monitor was upside down.. so she flipped it upside down..

Other things we do is tape up the mouse ball in the mouse / randomly switch keys on keyboards and crank all the dials on the monitor so everything is super huge..

^^^^hahahah yeah like wise random emails telling people they love them all! lol... poor people leaving them unlocked! I lock mine everytime I leave my desk.

 

i too, like johnny toronto, work in a cafe. i won't name any names but it sounds like "seacond cuup".
best job i ever had! (well, actually one of the only jobs i ever had - but why leave)
***keep in mind - 90% of the time i'm working/flirting with young (good looking)girls...
- countless whip cream fights, works best down the shirts!
- there is always a wet cloth...*snap*
- drink an entire pot of coffee...shake all day
- once, i made a catapult from various items and launched beans at people.
- liquor is easily mixed in with coffee, usually (actually always) on the weekends.
- took a huge toke once, then went out and served a cop - giggled in his face.
- when it's dead, it's REALLY dead, once sat for an entire shift reading the paper and drinking coffee.
- started a tradition of ordering food every week, last week we had a pizza party.
- got my GF working there...closing up can actually be fun, nuf said!

I WOULDN'T TRADE MY JOB FOR A BRAND NEW AMP IF I WAS OFFERED!!!

Things I've heard of but never tried....

- make a 3 way call, do it fast so that both phones are ringing at the same time, then mute your phone and see how long the other 2 will make small talk before they realize that neither one of them made the call.

-call a number you know is out of service, then transfer it to someone, so that when they pick up the phone they get the good old "the number you have reached is not in service, please hang up and try your call again" works best if they're near you, so you can see/hear their reaction.

 

hmm you guys all have such more exciting lives than me.

The extent of my fun at work, is making a prank call to new exmployee's and inquiring about speedskate jumping barrels, then sending them to the umm kinda junk yard out back at work to look for them under some tarps. Or just random dumb pages, or the famous triple page. Long pauses inbetween your pages.

Other screwing around, not sure how this was so funny, but if we ever had to be up early for some osrt of staff event, you can guarantee we're going out to party hard the night before...and then we're just ****wiches for counting inventory or whatever the dillio is.

Apart from that....holding the owners daughters breasts for her at staff functions....and other imcriminating things that they don't yet know about, but could probably get me fired none the less.
