When I was setting up mobile homes, we had to lift the front of the house to place them on beams and roll them by hand onto the sub basements.

We had a brand new crew learning how to do the setup. Some of the guys were helping me place the beams at the back. I went to check the other beam up front, then check the hook and pintle so it didnt slide out on us.

The hook was in the hitch at an angle so I took the big sledge and gave it a knock to bring it around properly.

I have never seen so many middle age guys come out from under a lifted house so friggin quick.

It was like someone served them Xlax cookies and it all hit at once. My boss and I were rollin on the ground laughin our butts off.

We made it a habit to scare all the people we could.

 

I've seen some funny stuff at my work. (Truss and Lumber company)
- Someone smoked a bird, that flew in the shop, with a 2X4 and then sent it through the plate press What a mess it made.
- lift truck dough nuts and burnouts (which have already been mentioned)
- putting tree sap on various items: hammer handles, door ****, anything else that comes to mind
- throwing nails at each other, not the smartest thing ive ever taken a part in

Cant think of anything else at the moment, but i'm sure i'm missing something.

I work at the same place as my Grandma, so I can't do anything too crazy. Just computer pranks on people. Ex: changing keys, passwords...
One time I got stuck cleaning the shop with another guy. The mouse trap (multicatch kind) had a live one running around inside. I spray some ether in there to **** him off. then when he is soaked in it I set it down, grap the oxy/act torch, and light the thing. This mouse was running around in there on fire. I then had to kick the thing all the way to the door. Each kick you get a burst of flames from feeding the oxygen. Good stuff
