Guys, one of my memory cards that holds all the pictures from my wedding on the weekend has somehow gotten corrupted. Along with the normal DCIM folder there are several others with very strange folder names and icon.

Anyone have a idea how I can get these pictures back ?

I have tried 2 different card readers and I have tried downloading right from the camera.

The other 2 memory cards worked fine.

Help !

I would think one of the electronics stores that had a computer service center would have some way of recovery what is on there. If you absolutely can't get the pics back.

is it listed as a jpg, or what type of file, you might wanna try copying all of those files to your computer, and then fooling with the file extentions, I would then bring in the memory card to the electronics store as well, but make a copy of them on to you computer if you can first.

My father-in-law had the same problem happen to his memory card......he went onto Tiger Direct's website (www.tigerdirect.ca) and they sell software to recover the info. He then searched the net and found the software for free, downloaded it, and wihtin minutes recovered the photo's.

Good luck.
