Thought I would add something to this, over on Carsound some guy just got taken for $1000 by a seller on ebay.

Here are some signs of fraud.........................

The guy is from the UK.................zero feedback.......................money order only.....................and selling a COMPLETE F1 Alpine system for a buy it now of $1000......................

DUH..................................kiss your money good by...............................and it was the buyers first time buying on ebay.............

 

so you're the bastard that does it to me . i would also like to employ this timer deal for me ebaying. but don't ell my g/f, she's mad cause i spend more money and time with it than i do with her apparently [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

Yeah that's a major bummer. Especially when you are new - my first purchase was a disaster. Didn't cost much, but the product was garbage. Just goes to show, most of the time if the deal is too good to be true...

Seems like after a while you get "street smart" on EBay.
