We get blasted by all sorts of planes at all times of the day, the nice thing about being directly beside an air force base. You guys ever heard an F-18 bust a nut at 500ft off the deck? Damn store nearly vibrated to pieces. And you thought your stereo was loud.

 

The sonic boom would have been intense at the distance!

 

Supersonic fly-bys are eerie because you can’t hear the plane as it approaches and as it passes BOOM. I forget but I dont think the stealth planes are supersonic, besides during an airshow they fly slow so you can get a good look at-em. Certain jets are very much louder than others, the f-18 super hornet is a loud one but the C-5... that is a huge noise, for a huge plane.

 

Yeah my dad saw that happen, not that one... he said that the guy had to slamm on his breaks becouse he was coming towards a crowd or somethin... ahah he said its pretty cool! awsome to see though!
