Fargin Bastich Cougar
You have any children or pets or anything you feel strongly about wrkr? I'll defend them & myself when I see either being mocked.
Edited to add this... Sorry AGAIN to the thread starter. I never started it, but I will finish it. You will have to lock my threads or ban me for it. You wouldn't say ish if you were mocked?

Stupid computer double posting....so just so that you are all sure, the Couger is all mine. I have a nice sign being made up right now that I'll post at the end of our dead end road tonight so that everyone is made aware of this.

Ok, so last night Mr. Big Bad Putty Tat returned. This time we saw him and he was going after one of the rescue dogs we have kenneled outside, 30 feet from the house. The kennel is 6' chain link with a sheet metal roof so Mr. Kitty could not have played with Squirts the dog at all.
That said though, we now know what we have. We have a very big cougar, dark brown in colour and over the 100pound mark. He is not afraid of us at all as we were about 40 feet from him and never knew he was there until our flashlight caught his eyes. We expected him to go back to the barn to finish the job, but no, he comes straight up to the house where Squirts has been playing in his kennel all day.
Fargin Bastich, you are mine. I had a total money shot on this dude. Elevated above him by 20 feet, 40 feet away and nothing but solid ground and trees all around him so a stray bullet would not have gone anywhere. At the last second, he got up, turned around and skulked back down the path that we had cut and dissappeared into the bush.
At least now all of the people on the street know of this from the sign I put out. They were astounded that this was going on and people had had their kids playing in their backyards where Mr. Kitty has been hinding.
The Conservation officer showed up again within 20 minutes, caught the scent trail right away but could not find the cat anywhere after crashing through bush for an hour. So, now we wait.....
I can't shoot the bastich as I don't have a rifle at home nor a permit....but I can definitely do some serious damage with a 50pound bow from that distance. More updates as they happen. This cat had better not take out a kid.
