My parents bought my one from Canadian Tire for my birthday one year. If I were buying one again, I probably wouldn't get one from there again. The rods do bend pretty easy, and as we all know, men don't go "easy" when playing foosball. Mine is in storage right now, but when I get it back out, I am going to go buy some nice stiff rods from Home Depot to go inside the rods I already have. That way I don't have to go buy all new men and rods and stuff, and my bending problem should go away.
Other than the rods, it sin't that bad of a table. I found because its pretty light, it slides on the carpet too. I need to find some way to get it secured a little better.

The reason I prefer one goalie is because that's how soccer is played, and the three bar was just invented cause some manufacturers were too lazy to put the sloped corners in.
I can play on both though about equally well, but I usually play forward with doubles.
Remember you don't need alot of great shots, just one unbeatable one.
