Apparenlty there's tons of these in Edmonton, not sure why, but meh....not a huge fan of spiders, but i suppose as long as they don't come near mye, I don't care.

Sadly I couldn't get a pic from the other side, this is the belly lookin portion. But i had a bit of fun playin with my new camera.

haha.....it's 8.1mp i think.

and it's a 55" tv that i use as a monitor every now n then. lol.

Had to have it all big otherwise you can't see all the detail n what not. I could only get within like 5ft of it due to some tables n chairs n crap. Took me a while to find a image hosting site that would host it.

 

wow thats a big picture lol. ya ive seen like 5 of those big *** spiders. I was wiring up my friends amp one night and his gf starts to scream. I look up and one of those spiders was decending onto my head. needless to say I got the hell outta there and killed it with my foot. I dont like them. and I have enough spiders in my house as it is.

 

Rock spiders are nasty!!! I think they're venomous as well!!

PS: "I think" and I ain't lookin them up either. lol

 

Cat Faced Spider

We use to catch them & put um in jars when I was a kid. We called them cat spiders.

 

Yeah I was out at the wreckers the other day, pulling some parts when I felt something on the inside of my arm crawling around, it was a big SOB probably bigger then the one in your picture. We see them all the time around here but it still freaked me out seeing this massive spider crawling on my arm, I jumped and swatted the thing away and my brother just sat there laughing.

my worst spider experience involved a canoe trip..... after winning a race between a bunch of us I was the first to travel through a giant culvert....

the joy of winning the race soon turned to terror as I realised the culvert was basically a spider cave and we were going way too fast to stop.... webs everywhere and hundreds of giant spiders....

I remember freaking out just a little bit... lol
