Gas prices going up again???
It will keep going up til we run out...
THEN the 'big 3' US car companies will make hybrid/hydrogen fuel sources readily available, and affordable.
Why should they reduce their prices, or reduce engine sizes, etc, when the demand is there?
If the TTC, toronto transit comission, converted all its buses to GM's new hybrid system, it would save almost 5 years supply of gas each year. BUT the hybrid buses are half again as expensive as it costs them to run the buses they have now for a year...
Its a vicious cycle that unfortunately wont stop til we run out of oil, gas, etc....humans suck.

Really the only thing we have control over in this issue is our personal consumption of fuel.
More important than ever to consider the gas mileage when choosing your car/truck.
Eliminate unnecessary trips (I've hinted to the g/f that visiting her mother today (1.5hrs away) is just crazy due to the gas prices ), pool to work/school once in a while.
Conservation is your only real weapon against the high prices. Although it doesn't seem to take around here. Plenty of dirt bikes, quads, even some three wheelers still ripping around here like there's no tomorrow.
Oh well, I guess I don't mind the job security.

Or, just buy a car that is reasonable one gas. Hopefully prices will keep going up so we're all forced to buy diesel's and cars that have realistic sized engines. Nobody needs an Expedition as a city car; unless you're questionably retarded.
83.2 here, I filled at 68.4 1 week ago, still on the same tank for at least another 2 weeks.
