Chizzer,
Have you seen the new(beta) feature on google maps?
You can enter an area and get a satalite image of the area.
You can make out small streets in Canada and the US is very detailed.
Then google will lay your route over the image
so sweet

yep was messing with it 1 night at work, pretty sweet setup, i found the sat images don't zoom in very far but none the less nice tool to have!

pics are a couple years old in some cases, but damn. zoomed in on my house and saw my old car, traced a road all the way from my school to my house & to my buddy's house in the country.. zooms in preeeetty close if you ask me, any closer would just be scary.
