Hate your job/Dream job thread.
I'm going to hate every job I work - until I'm the owner of a company and not an employee.
As for becoming a master installer or mechanic, a waiter, or even anything remotely fun - I can't see myself doing that until I retire at 65.
I used to see a lot of people saying how they love installing and fabricating for a living - but when the time comes for mortgages and loans - they end up finding an alternate place of employment to make ends meet.
And unless they're the owner or manager of the shop - how many 35+ year olds do you see installing head units?
Dream jobs are great - but that's all they are...dreams.
Just my 2 cents

Sorry.
On a side note - I took a look at our warehouse staff as they bragged about how "laid-back and easy" there job is and how they love it so much. One was bragging about every job he worked was so easy that all he had to do was sit at the end of an assembly line and take 2 lb bundles of paper and put it in a box for somebody else to carry.....yeah - he's about 40 years old, drives an old beaten down Nissan Sentra and smokes value cigarettes (killing the heater halfway to save it for later). And then complains that he only has $18 in his bank account, and how his annoying teenage neighbour just bought a new car.
You can be happy with your job but will you be content with your lifestyle?
For me, personally - I want more than living pay-cheque to pay-cheque.
