I was watching all that on the news. LOL! 95 degrees in New York! With no power, no air conditioning. And 300 people in a single subway underground trapped! Man it would have to be freakin' hot under there! LOL!

I am gonna take this opportunity to say that Toronto sucks.. lol

Power is back here, and YES I WAS IN TRAFFIC WHEN ALL POWER WENT OUT AARRRRGGHHH...the competition today got cancelled, people were crazy and stupid and even cops were being ********* it's nuts man...

so now I can tell you all to shove it you **** heads...lol jk

I don't even know the full story yet I have some reading to do!!! There was also a huge factory fire on appleby in burlinton!

About an hour ago I heard that the cause was lighting striking one of the main plants in New York.

Oddly enough, I'm in farming country - Listowel Ontario, and we were one of the firsts to receive power again - we were only out of power for an hour! [img]graemlins/freak.gif[/img] Odd that farming country 3 hours from Toronto gets serviced first.

Crazy though, that that many people can be effected by on lighting strike.

 

I was watching UPN tonight and they stated that the power had been out for a long time in Toronto, Ottawa and Ontario. When did Toronto and Ottawa defect from Ontario?

 

all I can say is yay!!!!!!!!!!!! power. I almost forgot how TV works let alone spell it....I think the reason why it happen is because the y2k bug came late... j/k I'm just happy I got power back

Funny I've been told our power was out maybe 10 minutes (I'm in the niagara region)...people are nuts though, a couple hours ago gas stations and McDonalds were just PACKED...probably because our power never really went out...funny though some parts are still out and across the street it's all on [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

They say lightning may have struck the power plant in Niagara? That's bunk because there hasn't been a cloud in the sky all day...my brother works in Niagara Falls, their power never went out and he never heard any thunder of any sort,

Oh well...so we had a blackout...everything is back to normal again.
