HOLY BLACK OUT BATMAN!!!!
We lost power at 4:11 and got it back at 10:30, it was a interesting night though, we made supper in the driveway on a campstove good thing we are campers. Lots of places in the city I live in don't have power yet though my friend lives a block away and still no power there! Count your blessings your not one of those people in Toronto that are still stuck in elevators
see now sucks that the blackout affected canadian cities, i think the gov should turn the power off to the US, aswell as the flow of gas thru the alaska pipeline until the US stops bein d*cks about the whole mad cow thing and opens the boarder completely again.......
but then again im an a**hole and maybe thats just me......

Oddly enough, I'm in farming country - Listowel Ontario, and we were one of the firsts to receive power again - we were only out of power for an hour! Odd that farming country 3 hours from Toronto gets serviced first.
Crazy though, that that many people can be effected by on lighting strike.

What an awesome night. People were out actually enjoying themselves instead of sitting inside and watching TV! And as night fell, everyone was gathering togethere and PARTYING!! awesome time - everywhere you looked people were out on their porches sipping pops! around midnight we went and hopped the fence at the community pool - which was packed with other people doing the same. finally the power came on around 2AM, and thats when I found out my exam for today was now cancelled!
wouldn't have missed last night for the world
