Home Theater Cable question....

I have just bought a Sharp Aquos LC46D62U and Harman Kardon CP15 surround system and I was wondering about the Monster PowerCenter-HTS 1000. I seen them on eBay for about $100 shipped to my door and was wondering if the power filter is a must for my new system or if buying one will help my home theaters quality at all.

I know that for the most part as long as a cable is HDMI certified it will do the job the same if its a $10 cable or a $200 cable, and please dont try to tell me that you can notice a huge difference because you can't see it its been proven in numerous articles and blogs and even admitted to by salesman. I am talking about video cables not audio.

I know Costco has an all in one HDTV kit for $70 any opinions?

Although I hate MonsterCable, my friend has one of the higher end powerbars on his tv and it does seem to make a small difference in image quality.

It helps

Anything you do to clean up AC line frequency noise will help. In the case of audio, you may notice a subtle difference in detail etc.., with video you should also notice less noise in the picture.
In essence, if AC power was water, your equipment would be drinking from the sewer, so any filtering will help.
To find out what power bar you will need, tally up the TOTAL power consumption of all the units plugged into the power bar, if you end up with more than 1000 Watts, you should get a stronger power bar, such as the 2500.
I've seen that Monster Power bar on sale for as low as $90.
I hope this helps
