Well if nos is anything like propane (which I serve at work) then it needs alot of care. Which people don't really care about I find. I think there should be some kind of screening to buy nos. But me as a person will never buy nos I belive to get power that you should use one fuel but that is just me.

hehe.... </font>
an old school V8 does 250 HPbut a twin turbo V6 can do 600 HP
I think a newer car is much better....but I hate honda's for the fact that everone drives it.

how is a twin turbo 6-cyl better than a v8...sure, an old school v8 comes with 250 hp stock but its alot cheaper...and easier to make faster...and it sounds better...and the advantages are numerous (i.e torque)...but if your worried about gas mileage, go buy a echo or something...strap a blower on that there 350 and you got a real car, screw the nitrous...

went for a ride in a wipple supercharged chev truck with nitrous once ...........the throttle was fun but with the bottle it was even funner( is that a word????)
so I say big cubes, big air and feed it with a big bottle
it's all good ...............

how is when I say I hate honda's mao says I drive one??? whats up with that??? ok sure now you do get more power if you strap on a blower on any engine but old school is no match to Technology. if you get the same power with less weight I would say it's better get a better power to weight ratio. But if you do get a hell of alot more power with an V8 over a V6 then take it!!! (but I would rather have a V6 for the fact of the price of gas) I do fell the more power the better but if you can't afford (ie. gas, repairs, etc...) then don't bother. I also would take a turbo-charge over a super-charger anyday for the fact of free power.
but back to Technology vs. old school. A stock a V6 has just the same amount as the old school V8.

You shrub, how old are you?
you obvously have no idea what you are talking about... a turbo does not create free power, to create free power would be to build a purpetual motion motor. exhaust backpressure makes the motor push the exhaust out, and not letting all of it escape. the blower, on the other hand takes the same amount of power from the motor to turn, but pushes the exhaust completely out, making much more power. But most importantly, the blower makes torque, something you obvously do not recognize(torque x rpm = power, not rpm x rpm = power)
fyi - i never siad you drive a honda, that was a quote...when something is put in quotation marks and is separated from the rest of the paragraph it is usualy someone elses words...i neglected to put who wrote it for i saw it on a bumper sticker...

I don't think so... a turbo-charger is free power by the fact it doesn't take any power away from the crank. The Super-charger does because you need the crank to power it. The only problem with a turbo is the consistency of the boost. The exhaust does have backpressure. But that is without a wastegate. There is also was a problem with spool up time. But thanks to duel ball barings (I belive thats what they are called) It spools up much faster. I'm not going to say that turbo's are the greatest thing and I not going to put super-chargers down but each has there own advantages and dis-advantages. It's just about what you want. Both do the same thing create boost.

a turbo does take power from the crank, somehow the exhaust has to be pushed out, and the piston does this, the crank pushes the piston up, and the exhaust out. although an intercooler can be installed easier with a turbo, and not at all with some blowers, a turbo makes the air really hot before going into the motor, but heat isnt a problem for a 50lb motor. let a motor idle and plug the exhaust, it will stall for that reason, thats why they use a big exhaust pipe instead of one with a small diameter...
its true that both have advantages and disadvatages, but the advantages of a turbo are limited to fuel economy during daily driving. and honestly, if your going to make a fast car, why screw around.
