i liked the movie...
it started off good, some hot chicks, nice cars, good music, then the cool doughnuts, but then at the end i hear in the background the faint crys of "imports suck"!?! WTF. i take some offence to this but i know that any wasting of my time arguing this is only futile. we all know that imports clearly do not suck. enough said.
PROUD TO DRIVE A VW.

And you drive an MKIII which makes things even worse.
You could have saved yourself if you drove a 3 or 5 series BMW, or pretty much anything that isn't a MKIII VW or later...or Honda.

Toyota has a dragster that does low 6's AND is powered by a Lexus block...the same Lexus that happens to be, basically, Toyota.
ALSO, to lumina dude or whatever your name is.
GM,Ford,Chrysler may be assembled in north america....but where do you think the parts and resources come from? Almost every part that goes on the chevy trucks and cars comes from Mexico and either gets re-worked or QC'd here in canada/usa.
Also, like was said, the Civic is built in Alliston and the Accord, is or was built somewhere in canada also.
One more thing, I work for a rework company for GM, I'm in GM every day for at least 3-4 hours depending on the day, therefore I see and deal with the stupidity that goes on in GM. Based on my knowledge of what goes on there, I wouldn't advise anybody to ever buy a GM product. Also, if the things that go on in GM, go on in the Ford and Chryler plants, which I'm sure they do, then chances are, they go on in Import plants as well and as a result, if it's rolling off an assembly line anywhere in the world, it's probably junk. With the exception of the hand built stuff, Ferrari, Lambourghini etc...
On a side note, sweet vid, nothing like seeing 8 cylinders make those Honda punks cry.

Is the company of origin important... is the country of origin important...
These are relative questions, I think keeping $ in North America is important, so knowing where your vehicle is made has some value (some imports are assembled in North America too). Keeping North American employed is a good thing. Does this mean I wont buy a VW or Scion or Ferrari (I wish)? No.
Personally I like HP and I like fuel mileage, but as much as that I like a comfortable car that is reliable at a reasonable price. Do all of the above and I will buy it.
As far as the burn out goes, it was a good one and made a statement of go vs. show.
“Don’t do that we just washed our cars” LOL
As far as the “Imports Suck” thing goes so what, it is just an opinion, and domestic cars suck too…LOL.
