I can lounlock, but can't lock back door - why???
#1
OK, so now that i'm attempting to redo my stereo, i may actually be able to make use of the back of my jeep. Problem is....it takes me about 10 minutes or so to lock the hatch door (or whatever it's called) with a key. Unlocking it is absolutely fine, but using which is i believe the original key, and one i've made from it, i cannot easily lock the door. I have yet to find any sorta trick, but it's pissing me off, especially now that i've opened it a couple times in the same week.
Could this be the key causing this? It can't be different to unlock then lock could it? What else would cause this? What can i check?
EDIT***
Arg...so i needed to get into the back of my jeep to make measurements, ended up taking off the interior panel to lock the door. All seems fine with the umm insides as far as what moves to unlock or lock the door, so think it's the actual key or the lock itself.
Guess its time to talk to a lock smith to find out whether it's fixible (within reason or not)

that woulda been nice, wish they woulda hooked my rear door up to the rest of my alarm....god knows i'm clearly to useless to do so!!
That being said, i still have to try and fix the two rear doors, for some reason they've stopped functioning...maybe thats what should be done! Have them fix that and do up the back door!
