it just seems logical..the discovery channel should set something up for the OCC guys on MG..can you imagine Paul Sr and Jr going at it on MG..lol would be an episode to stay home for that's for sure..

 

i heard that jesse offered up a challange to the OCC boys for a bike build off but i really doubt that will happen. It dose look like discovery channel likedthe idea cause the have a "bike build off show" but no OCC Vs. West coast yet

 

i would lean towards WCC not occ.... i just think jesse can actually fab stuff not just put it together like occ

 

That's the difference that a lot of people don't realize, between WCC and OCC. WCC fabs everything such as tanks, etc, where as OCC buys (has them made) their tanks, fenders, etc, out of house. No doubt OCC could create everything on their own, they just choose not to do it that way. Probably why an in house bike at OCC costs about 10 grand less then one from WCC.

 

I have a copy of American Iron around here somewhere and I remember that there was a write up on WCC and the author pointed out that fact as well, but at the same time he stated that, they do mass produce them in house so I guess they can all be considered hand made. Can't seem to find that mag right now though. Either way, if I were given $50,000 US and had to pick between the 2 builders, I would have to flip a coin. Unless Mikey was running the show for my bike, then it's a no brainer!
