I wasn't even talking about saftey in my original comment... I was simply comparing the build quality of the two since she was making fun of Saturn's use of plastic.

so i dont know how u gonna say that u feel safer in a cavalier than u do in a saturn. both cars are budget buckets, both cars will kill you the same way have u happen to smash into something doin 100km/hr.
I feel even safer in my cobalt now...hope i dont get tboned tho. Even tho i got the side airbags, messed up ribs are no fun.

I love my Saturn Ion.... it's really loud, and apparently a lot safer than a Cavy... YAY, I knew my car would amount to something other than just another 'BOOM CAR' that hits 145.... YAY!!

Note: This post was edited after some mj and rb&v was consummed....

I've driven a Vue. I found it to be a decently built vehicle. Handled well.

LOL Ter, you're definatley NOT any safer in the Cav than a Saturn. Those are the most cheaply made gm cars availible...I know if anything the Saturns would be on par for safety, if not better than the Cavaliers.... </font>
And for the rest who decide to think against my logic.

I PERSONALLY feel safer in a cavalier than I ever will in a saturn. I don't friggin care about ur statistics I never said thats what I meant I said ME, MYSELF, PERSONALLY, NOT everyone else. If ur gonna start a friggin flame war pm me and bitch all u want.

Btw the link posted above is for a 2005 Cavalier.

yah the link was for a 2005 cavalier, its safe to assume that yours is just as safe unless GM has progressively toned down the safety of their vehicles over the last 3 years.

When I had my learners I literally tapped my moms cavalier into a pole, and the ****ing thing shattered apart and little plastic shards everywear. I bet the same thing would happen in a saturn.. stupid new cars are all made of plasticy ****.

Thats why I drive a tank..

Subject to personal opinions. Ppl feel safer in different cars. I personally do not feel safe in a saturn.
