Yeah it has a 429 that was balanced, blue printed, and the heads are ported and polished. Even still, not as much power as I had hoped.
It looks more to be a survivor with somewhat new paint. She is still going to need some work. Not to mention what I plan on doing. he he

Well, look at the weight the poor 429 has to lug around. The young uns may not know it, but they used to make cars out of...wait for it....STEEL
Try winding up and delivering a left hook to one of the quarters on that baby, you'll break your hand.
My old man had an early 60's Buick Wildcat as well as a Chrysler C300, maybe 64 or 65. I was 7 at the the time. Fun stuff
Oh, you do head work (flow) you gotta do exhaust or no point, visa-versa, but I think you knew that already.
Anyway, I'm really, really envious, pics please!
Cheers

The 429 is a decent mill (our 66 has it too) but sadly it has dick for aftermarket parts support. I know if ours goes south a 472 or 500 will be sliding in there. Lots of support for those and they make oodles of power easily. Plus they take a standard TH400 tranny, unlike the 429
