Soooooooo I had a little mishap this morning..... I was sleeping in bed when my alarm went off on my phone I ran out to the living room to shut it off when I noticed the two cats tearing outta the room like lighting bolts...... I look at the top of my entertainment stand at the cage that holds my anole Ziggy I saw that his cage was a little ruffled up..... I went to the cage and searched everywhere.... he wasn't there.... I thought he might have escaped and I began to look around the outside of the cage.... nothing..... ****!!!! So I start screaming and yelling searching for this ****in cat...... I woke everyone up in the house lookin for him..... (He has done this once but didn't eat him last time....****!!! ) the gf asks me what happened? I tell her and she starts to cry.... We've had this little bastard for at least a year (He was a gift from her)..... So I tell her that the cat is gonna get ****in soaked in the water and then shaved bald..... yes bald...... So I tell her that her mom has to ****in buy me a new one.... because it's her cat and her responsibility for whatever the cat ****in does..... now does anyone agree with me???? I know I'm right.... look at it this way if I had a dog that ate her cat.... or I had a cat that ate her fish..... I'd buy her a new one.... but my gf thinks that she doesn't have to and offered to buy me one.... but I don't think it's her responsibility, it's her moms...... anyone else with me???

There might still be a possibility that the lizard is still alive. First, check under everything, then on top of everything. All else fails...cool down. Then say in a polite way, the comparison of the cat and a goldfish. But yeah, you are right. And don't shave the cat, he doesn't know better, they are made to prey on small things that look like rodents.

Um, no, the minute you take possession of another person's animal (be it for safekeeping or otherwise), this animal is in your care and control. What steps did you take to prevent this from happening, especially after the first time? While it is considerate of the person to replace the animal in a circumstance like this, to expect or demand it is wrong.

Ms. Tuner's dog promptly ate one of my new runners the 2nd day I was with her. I was more than PO'd but what can I do about it. This is something that dog's do and here is a brand new shoe lying around in the dog's territory than just looked to good to be true. I bought myself new shoes and moved on.

I was still more than and wanted to the dog (not really but you know what I mean), it left me wondering how a dog could be so stupid to eat a shoe All in all Ms. Tuner had a good out of this and thought all was while I thought it was total

Exactly, and it sounds like you were already lucky once.
Obviously precautionary measures were not up to par.

Dude... I have 100% sympathy for the fact that you are upset because you lost a family member.

Please keep personal attacks out of this. You're obviously a bit emotional right now (I would be too) but please try and show a bit of restraint.

Btw.. I hope he really has just escaped and you can find him.
