Don't ever buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
I freakin hate mine and can't wait to return it at the end of its lease in August.
Brakes are absolute **** and it likes to stall when going around corners (don't ask why, I have been to the dealer a bunch of times and they find all sorts of other problems, but never fix the right one).

i have a 2001 jeep grand cherokee. the brakes are the factory fault on ALL 1999-2002 models, they should be replaced for u for free under 20k kms. but they still wrap every 15k or so. about stalling aroud the corners.....yah thats another thing jeeps love to do, thankfuly mine doesnt do that. i will not go on to list things wrong with the 1999-2004 Grand Cherokee b/c it would take too long. Never the less i LOVE my jeep and i WILL get the new 2005 Model when it comes out.

PS: my grand cherokee comes with the VERY limited option that u can not get in canada, called Southern Cali option. every time i start the jeep the sunroof opens by itself. No one, and i mean NO ONE knows whats wrong and why it's doing that, not even the dealer.

I have given up on this POS and really don't care anymore. You would think that a $50k+ truck would perform and be reliable but this one does not. Stay away from Jeeps.
