I got one a while ago.. Do i actually have to pay it?

Can it affect my credit rating if I don't pay it?

Don't park in another Impark lot if you don't pay it .. last I heard they can't access your personal information through the gov't anymore, meaning they have no way to track you down using just your license plate.

get a new license plate and do have your vin in a way they can not see it

or phone them and say i tryed to pay to get a ticket and it would not give me one

A friend of mine got a ticket at an impark lot about a year and three months ago. I told him not to pay it, as they cannot access your personal information or withhold your license plate renewal.

To date nothing has come of it.

The ticket fees are outrageous, otherwise my friend would have paid the ticket.....

Actually in I believe September the ALberta Gov. gave them limited permission to access your info so they can follow up on unpaid tickets BUT they still cant do anything to your credit.....I have like 10 Impark tickets that I havent paid they've called and said "we're taking you to a collection agency" and all Ive said was legaly you cant do that and the person on the phone just goes "uhhhhh please pay your ticket"

I only pay the city tickets..... those ***** are merciless when it comes to towing your car so i dont screw with them.

Hmmm, a question I had on my RCMP interview was do you have any unpaid parking tickets......I don't and the last time I had one was over 15 years ago....I did not think that I would be heading to the RCMP at that time...pay the tickets dude. They will one day catch up to you.

Hahaha... I came out of the bookstore at school this morning to see the campus po sitting in his SUV getting ready to write me a $35 parking ticket....

Should have seen the look on his face when I snuck up on my car and peeled out like I didn't even notice him.... [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I got a parking ticket on new years cuz all i wanted to do was see the fireworks in edmonton. I was gone 20min and I got one. I accually did put money into the till to get a stub and nothing! and im forsure not paying it. its not like i park in those parkinglots anyway.

so my vote is dont pay it. and dont park in those parkinglots my friend had like 3 tickets and they towed his car from the parking lot and told him he has to pay them orelse they wont give his car back.
