Jeep Patriot Opinions
Bought a compass last night, lots of nice features but couldn’t find one for under 25,000 up here, ours priced out @ 28,700
I drove the patriot its heavier and seems to take the bumps worse ( sales man liked it better then the compass so its a personal preference. )
Best thing about this thing whatever it is sportcute?
Gas mileage that’s why I opted over the Pacifica… the tyranny has 6 speeds and auto stick which help make it a fun ride.

Yeah, the Compass, Calibre and Patriot are all the same platform. The Calibre is the direct replacement for the Neon / SX2.slow and the two Jeeps have the styling cues geared more for the genders (kind of like the Cavalier and the SunFlower... I mean SunFire) :-)
psh.. My SX 2.slow would eat your Civic

2 years and I'm up for a new ride. As much as I like the Nitro, my commute will likely dictate a Calibre. I need a utility ride now with all the kids' sports gear and my RC gear.

...which is exactly whey we're looking at the Patriot (or the Mazda5)... Plus I'm 8 years into my Civic so I'm long over due for an update.
lol - I think both of our cars carry too much gear. Interestingly, from what I've read online, the SX is considered a pretty decent handling car.
IMO the Mazda 5/7/9 are funky looking. I prefer the styling of the 3Sport.
