Just installed the Xenon white/blue headlights

Well, on the heels of Hardcore Rock Superstar's post back a week or so talking about white headlights, I just got mine in the mail yesterday and installed them today. Here is the result. Very satsifying for what I paid. White, and blinding bright. Nuts to an actual kit, this is far enough for me!

And the best I could get at the moment for night shots because it is raining.

First pic, can't see how bright they really are cause it's at an angle. But, if you look at the reflection on the ground you can see how white they are. The fogs are extremely blinding though for little fogs. You can tell by looking at them in the first pic.

And here is the pic that damn near blinded me. These are the lows and fogs. No high beams are on in this pic. The highs are even brighter and more blue. I wasn't even going to stare into them for a picture.

All in all definitely worth the 42US bucks I spent on everything.

Yeah it's blurred out for my car domain profile, but I'd never be so sissy as to hide it from you Canadians!

EDIT: Fixed, just for Bulldogger

Well, it's 14.99 for your first pair and 9.99 for each additional pair. I was skeptical at first myself, but I compared the bulbs on the site with the same bulbs at my local auto stores that were selling for 30 bucks a pair and everything about them is identical. This place just buys them like any wholesaler and gives you a better price on them rather than marking them up 20 bucks a pair like stores do. The website also sells the lights on ebay though I bought them straight from the site and from what I read on Ebay almost all the people who've left feedback are quite satisfied with them.

And yes, they are a lot brighter. I put them in and have them in front of me. Much brighter than stock. The high beams are absolutely blinding! I mean for how cheap they are you can't go wrong. No, they're not as bright as a 200 dollar HID kit, but of course they won't be. They are however, a lot brighter then stock. Much brighter. At least on my vehicle. I'd assume others wouldn't be all that different. I'll get some pics up later of my normal headlights and you'll be able to see the difference.

Watch the wattage on those aftermarket bulbs. I've had to replace the headlight plugs and wiring on several vehicles now that installed higher wattage bulbs than what came with the vehicle.

Customer's don't like that to much either.

*ring ring* "Hello?"

"Hello John Doe, this is Bob from All Start calling, your Ford truck is ready."

"Oh good. What was wrong?"

"Well, you recently replaced your headlight with some high wattage SilverStar's?"

"Yep,, just last weekend, they cost me $60! Pretty cool eh?"

"Yes. Well, they were too high of a wattage, the stock plugs and wiring can only handle so much current, and they overheated and melted the plugs and some wire to each headlight. So we replaced those and installed some stock bulbs again."
