So heres the scoop. As some know we got a flat tire last weekend on our trailer. So we book a time to bring the trailer in, since we already had the trailer hooked up we towed it over to kal tire in Crossfield alb. This was on wed. the 30th btw. After work we picked up our truck and trailer and start driving, then I smell batterie acid, and decide to pull over. After futher looking in the truck there is 2 spots on the door pannel that look like something ate it or melted it. After taking the drivers side door pannel off and seeing no wires there, i call them up and say my door pannel is screwed from you guys. They say (kal tire) to bring it in and the will have a look. So we get there today and they say they didnt do it, our fault, bla bla bla. I told them I work with wood and steel all day then I also said you guys sell batteries here as well as calcium filled tires wich all have acid that can do this, to a plastic door in my gm truck. There responce was, they didnt do any of those tires today or install any batteries.

So i just got bent over just like that, those a$$holes will do the same to you too!!
I`m never shopping at any kal tire again and i hope who ever reads this doesnt either. Now I`m out $680 for a door pannel, from those fuc@ers!!

 

the sad thing you can get the show to pay up bit the $ is higher then you fixing it

 

Thats most unfortunate. Even worse is the fact that a door panel cost $680.

Needless to say your story is reason enough for me to drive by Kal Tire to the next shop (if my personal mechanic can't get what i need done).

a hose came off on the hwy and they told me thay worked on the othere end not the side that came of

 

wow I dont feel as bad anymore! That sucks dude. How come there is no honest shops anymore? At least I havent found one yet.....

 

This is the commercial where th taxi cab drivers say they can trust KAl Tire. lol But then again......

i use ok tire, they fix my car always and do it for a fair price....befor i go in though i speak with my dad,(whose a mechanic in ponteix sask) and get his advice... then going in i now somewhat whats going on.... not a fool proof way to avoid being butt raped but helps a bit... oh and i put in the stereo for the owner of our local ok tire shop so he likes me now!! lol

 

to go from chilliwack to ponteix sask is a long drive why not just call him

Kind of reminds me of some of the recent news reports I've seen lately where they take a car in to have it's oil and filter changed and they hide cameras in the car and under the hood and the shops never even do the work and then charge you for it. LOL!
